This 400 page book contains more than 500 full-colour photographs and 60 original and highly detailed illustrations. Bound as hardcover with jacket and slipcase, printed in two sizes.
My role as art director included:
- layout of all a section of pages
- setting up InDesign Templates
- briefing multiple designers to layout the internal pages and cover
- briefing illustrator and picture researcher
- reviewing all pages and cover with internal manager
- providing feedback to designers, illustrator and picture researcher
- managing junior designer
- pre-press image checking
- proof checking
